Files with the RAF file extension are original Fuji image files. This format stores RAW images taken from Fuji digital cameras. The JPG of the same image captured by the camera can be included in the RAF file.
The RAF file extension is also used for Riot Archive Files with Legends Alliance video games, and see the raf.dat file next to it. The dat file stores the actual data, but the raf file describes where the content is decompressed.
How to Open a raf File
Fuji's original image files can be opened with a number of other popular photo and graphics tools capable of Able RAWer, Adobe Photoshop, XnView, and other. The free RAF viewer can also open and resize raf files.
The raf file used for video games with riot games can be opened using the Commander Commander, as long as you have also installed the raf wrapper plugin.
File extensions in other file formats look very similar to.raf, but that doesn't mean that they can be opened by the same program. Examples include rar, ram (actual audio metadata), and ras (correction file system).
If you find that an application on your PC is trying to open the raf file, but it's the wrong application, or if you want another program installed to open the raf file, learn how to change the default program for the specific file extension in Windows.
